Guruvayoor Oct 18Junior priests in Sree Krishna temple Guruvayoor Saturday decided to delay the preparation of prasadamto protest the suspension of four keezhu shantis following the discovery of a cigarette stub in the prasadam. Four keezhu shantis were suspended Friday after they were held responsible for the presence of the cigarette stub in the prasadam, which was found by a devotee from Bangalore Oct 11 also a traditional worker has also suspended.
due to the protest there was a delay of 90 minutes. They demanded that we certify all the raw material they use to make the prasadam and cancel the suspension of the four keezhu shantis . "We agreed to the former demand but not the latter," temple official P.A. Ashok Kumar
